SHREDLY sustainable outdoor clothing for women mountain bikers

Are you an adventurous woman who cares about the planet and sustainability, but also want to look cute and stylish in the outdoors? Well, SHREDLY is probably the sustainable outdoor clothing company you’ve been looking for! SHREDLY is a woman founded and operated sustainable woman’s mountain biking and outdoor clothes brand, and they make clothes just for women, ensuring that they know a woman’s wants and needs best when it comes to outdoor fashion and functionality.

Sustainability

My favorite element of this brand, is how sustainability minded they are. They have a goal of sourcing 100% recycled or eco-friendly fabrics, and currently 93% of their materials used are made with recycled materials–so they are well on their way there! They even created their own “EcoFAB” fabric made of recycled materials, which I can attest to as being durable enough to hike down and raft through the Grand Canyon in, and soft enough to sleep in! They also have a repair warranty program, where they’ll fix damaged gear or send you fabrics for a DIY repair at home. And finally, they package their products thoughtfully for online orders and deliveries with minimal and recycled packaging. In 2021 alone, they prevented over 2 million KG of CO2 emissions, saved 400,000+ gallons of water, and diverted 770+ tons of waste from the landfill.

Disclaimer: This post is sponsored by SHREDLY and they sent me some clothing of my choice to test out and review, but I only partner with brands I truly like and use myself. So, all the opinions expressed in this post are genuine and my own, and I tested them out for a few months before writing this post. I chose the Cadence Tank (in Wisteria color) and the Cascade Pants (in Mara color). I’m not exactly an outdoor shorts kind of person, so I was happy to see that SHREDLY offers some really cute and colorful pants too, which brings me to another thing I like about the brand…they offer so many different styles and patterns for different fit and fashion preferences. There’s really something for everyone!

Both the top and bottoms are super comfortable, flexible, and moisture wicking. The design of the Cadence Tank is perfect for any outdoor activity! It’s fitted, with broad shoulder coverage, which is great for sun protection and preventing discomfort from having a backpack rub on your shoulders. The tank also has a bit of a perforated mesh material in the upper back which helps with breathability of the fabric. There’s also a really convenient pocket on the side of the tank which is perfect for storing chapstick (or whatever other small items you want quick access to).

The Cascade Pants are perfect for mountain biking if you want more coverage than shorts can provide. I personally like wearing pants while hiking and biking because it’s natural sun protection, prevents bug bites, and scrapes from shrubs that you may brush up against. I’ve also used these pants for hiking and lounging, and they have served me well in whatever activity I’m partaking in. I used to wear leggings for hiking and biking, but now that I have these pants, they are my go-to activewear bottoms.

Together, the Cadence Tank and Cascade Pants are a great all around outdoor adventure outfit that won’t disappoint you! Check out my review video below to see them in action or check out all the SHREDLY gear and apparel (use SHREDLY discount code: ANNA for 10% OFF).
